Jenny is a Psychotherapist Registered and Accredited with The British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). She also has a Masters in Addiction Psychology which was sponsored by the Alcohol Research Council in 2005.
She is accredited with various professional bodies both in the UK and the United States
She has over 25yrs of Global, Clinical and Academic and Management experience in both the public and private sectors including working for an International Airline in their 24hr Crisis Counselling Service.
Jenny’s training has included working with various renowned health professionals in the United States.
This has included Dr Patrick Carnes who specialises in the treatment of trauma which often manifests as addiction or compulsive behaviour.
Jenny has spoken on the radio in the United States about how the modern age has introduced us to the need to be aware of the dangers of Internet Addiction. She has also given interviews for Arab Sky Television on how Stress affects mental health and has had several articles published by the BACP and The London Evening Standard.
Jenny also attended courses in the United States run by Dr Marsha Linehan from the University of Washington who devised Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) which includes Mindfulness Practice.
She specialises in areas which include the application of an Integrated model of Psychotherapy which involves Psychodynamic psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) as well as Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Solution Focused Therapy.
Jenny works with both individual adults and couples and provides specialised treatment for all aspects of mental health which includes Anxiety, Depression, Bereavement, Self Esteem, and any Stress related issues related to past trauma. She also assesses and treats all addictive behaviour, including sexual addiction connected with living in the digital age.
