Esther believes that a strong, trusting relationship between the client and therapist is at the heart of the therapy process. As an Integrative Psychotherapist, Esther adapts her empathic approach by drawing upon her knowledge and experience of the main psychological/therapeutic models and tools, to create a therapeutic experience that is unique to everyone. Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) techniques can be used to identify and challenge unhelpful patterns of behaviour, such as when obsessive compulsive behaviours, anxiety, or panic attack disrupts your daily life. Alternatively, perhaps your current difficulties result from earlier life experience. Esther will gently help you to explore your past without judgement, and to consider how this may relate to the issues that have brought you to therapy. Through humanistic values you are encouraged to discover your own potential and provided with the tools to move beyond your current difficulties, whatever they may be.

Esther has worked in a wide variety of settings both in the public and private sector, in the UK and overseas. Her experience includes working together with those experiencing anxiety, panic disorder, stress, bereavement, relationship issues, abusive relationships, PTSD, OCD, and addiction.
